Kurt and I met on June 16, 1996, on the candle/card isle at our local Albertson’s grocery store. We knew it was meant to be – we were to be together. As our love for each other grew everyday, we began discussing what kind of commitment ceremony we wanted, not realizing what the State of Vermont was about to do. On October 24, 2001, Kurt and I were legally joined together ‘til death do we part.
