We Support Our Troops!!

Kurt and I are staunch democrats.  We oppose most Republican views at the fundamental level.  For example, we:

1. do not believe in large corporations running the White House.

2. do not believe in religion dictating individuals in the secular world.

3. believe in true freedom of individuals.

4. do not agree with hurting our environment.

5. believe in alternative forms of energy, not fossil fuels.

6. and the list goes on and on.....

By an e-mail recently read, we felt we must post a response to the republican-attempted take over of patriotism.  The e-mail was hideous and reckless by stating someone is not patriotic and does not support troops in harms way if this person speaks out against a war, a president who mindlessly and deceptively takes a country to war, and for a host of other reasons.  

In general, Republicans attempt to silence anyone who speaks out against a war claiming those who speak out do not support the troops who courageously place themselves in life-and-death situations 24 hours a day months at a time.
